The Translational Research Office (TRO) supports researchers in their effort to translate their findings from basic biological, biomedical or clinical research into practical human health benefits such as new therapeutics, devices & diagnostics or other clinical interventions. Policy Engagement
The Oxford Policy Engagement Network (OPEN) is a network of researchers and professional services staff who share a vision of public policy powered by the world’s best available research evidence and expertise. The network connects members in more than 50 departments with each other, and with opportunities to engage with the policymaking community locally, nationally and internationally. Whatever your career stage, and whether you’re in Oxford or one of our overseas units, you can join OPEN. You’ll then be alerted to the latest opportunities to learn, engage, secure funding and can explore guidance and resources hosted by the Policy Engagement team. These cover engaging internationally, as well as with the UK government and Parliament, and general topics such as building engagement into project design, and how to monitor, evaluate and learn from your engagement.
