Senior Research Fellow

  • Minh is a researcher and innovator in biomedical engineering, specialising in the development and implementation of technologies for global health. His research group focuses on engineering novel medical devices and healthcare systems, with a particular emphasis on addressing challenges in international medical device regulation and safety.
  • Rooted in a multidisciplinary approach, the team's work bridges engineering, clinical science, and health policy. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Engineering and Science from the University of Oxford and a degree in Software and System Engineering from the University of Sheffield. His academic foundations are in Bioengineering, with a focus on Biomedical Engineering Systems.
  • Tran spearheads a robust international research network, with active, multidisciplinary collaborations in Vietnam, New Zealand, the United States, and Taiwan. He is committed to advancing health equity and scientific capacity worldwide and serves in several leadership and community roles:
