This Medical Research Council (MRC) funding opportunity supports the development and testing of novel therapeutics, diagnostics, medical devices and other health interventions.
Projects can span the translational pathway from prototype development and pre-clinical studies through to early-phase clinical trials (up to Phase 2a). Applications should demonstrate a clear pathway to patient, healthcare or commercial impact.
Criteria
- No upper funding limit (requested costs must be appropriate to the project).
- Applicants must be employed by an eligible UK research organisation.
- Applicants must lead the project and be actively engaged in the work.
