The team focusses on a range of research to inform policy and direct policy development and I have a particular interest in research prioritisation.
I'm also the PI for the Pandemic PACT programme and previous Head of the COVID-19 Research Coordination and Learning Initiative (COVID CIRCLE), tracking research funding and identifying research needs to inform action in collaboration with key stakeholders including global research funders, WHO, GAVI and CEPI. My work is currently funded by Wellcome, IDRC (Canada), EDCTP and UKRI.
I am a Course Advisor for the International Health and Tropical Medicine masters course- focussing on global health policy and evaluation and leadership and am on the admissions, management and organisation panels and groups.
I have sat on advisory boards for a range global health projects and have been a funding panellist and reviewer for several global funders and journals.

I worked as an independent global health policy research consultant for two years before being appointed to the Head of COVID CIRCLE role at UKCDR to lead their research and policy work for the COVID-19 pandemic.
