This postdoctoral fellowship supports early to mid‑career global health researchers to build leadership and research expertise. Funded through Official Development Assistance (ODA), it supports applied research that strengthens health systems and improves outcomes for the poorest and most vulnerable populations in South Asia and sub‑Saharan Africa, including maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health. Priority areas include epidemic‑ and pandemic‑prone infectious diseases, pandemic preparedness, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), infectious diseases of poverty, and the links between undernutrition and infection.  

Funding amount: Up to £750,000 over 2 to 5 years.
