Aarti Basnyat

Communications Officer (Research)

I am responsible for communications around the strategic research themes: Global Health, Immunology and Metabolic, in this I work as part of the Medical Sciences Division Communications Team and Research team. I actively raise the profile and visibility of the research themes both internally and externally. I create new and engaging website content and social media posts, write copy for internal communications, assist with promoting events, support the development of thematic networks, and identify opportunities to progress the team’s objectives.

I also manage @OxImmuno Twitter account, promoting research, news, events, and activities from the Immunology network.

I have over 10 years of experience in communications working across a variety of fields such as social sciences and environmental advocacy and countries such as the USA, India and Germany.
